Create a Campaign
An email campaign is a bulk email sent to many contacts at once. Before sending an email broadcasting, you need to follow a few straightforward steps. Add your contacts, configure your settings, and fill the content campaign.
In this article, you'll learn how to do it in a breeze.
1. Navigate to the Campaigns page
2. Click Create Campaign
After clicking the Create Campaign button will take you to the Campaign Creator, where you’ll write your content and choose your settings.
3. Choose a Campaign Type
There are two main types of email campaigns in MoonMail: Scheduled Campaign and Event-based Campaign.
To send a regular email campaign select Scheduled Campaign.
4. Set up a Campaign Name
5. Choose the type of Campaign you want to create
MoonMail allows you to send one campaign with one single message or a multivariate campaign where you can choose between 2 to 5 variants.
To send a regular campaign select Standard Campaign.
6. Choose the Campaign Audience
In the Segment drop-down menu choose a Segment where you want to send your campaign.

7. Select From Address
Choose one sender from your list of verified sends or domains. You can learn more about Email identity settings here.
8. Add Subject
In the Subject field, enter a subject line for your email.
9. Write the content for your campaign
You can use markdown syntax, paste images directly into text and drag and drop HTML or plain text files into the content area
10. Verify your email content
Verify the content of your campaign by sending a preview to your own email address of by seeing a preview on the browser.
Send an email test
Click Next when you are happy with your content
11. Choose when to send the campaign
You can choose when the campaign should be sent: Immediately, Once, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly.
To send a regular email campaign to choose Immediately.
12. Review your campaign details and send it
In this final step, you need to make sure that all the details are right. Check your email content, the schedule, and the segment details. If everything looks good, it is time to send your first campaign.

Confirm if you want to send it.
Click on Activate
That's it! Your campaign is on its way. You can go now to your Dashboard or Campaigns to check the results.
You’ve sent a regular email campaign. Well done! Now you can view your report on your dashboard. When you’re ready to create your next email campaign, you can try an A/B test Campaign or and Event Base Campaign.
