Sending the campaign when events occur
If you want to send the campaign when contacts take certain actions, you can configure the campaign to be sent when a specific event occurs (see event-based campaigns in Step 1: Add campaign details). For example, you can configure the campaign to be sent when a contact registers a new account, or when a contact adds an item to their shopping cart but doesn't purchase it. To learn more about sending events from your apps to MoonMail, see how to trigger events).
Note
You can send event-based messages only if your campaign uses dynamic segments (as opposed to imported segments). In addition, you can have up to 10 event-based campaigns running at the same time.
To configure a campaign to be sent when an event occurs
1. For  Choose an event that will trigger the campaign, choose the name of the event that triggers the execution of the campaign.
2. (Optional) For  Add an event filter, you can choose the specific attributes and metrics that trigger the execution of the campaign.
Tip
The more event data you capture from your contacts, the more options you have when you set up event triggers. Event attributes and metrics are available only if you've provided those values to MoonMail. To learn more about capturing event data, see how to trigger events.
3. Under  Time range when campaign is active, choose a start date. MoonMail sends the campaign only if the event that you specified earlier occurs after the start date.
Note
The Start date and time that you choose has to be at least one minute in the future.
4. For End date, choose an end date. MoonMail sends the campaign only if the event that you specified earlier occurs before the end date.
5. Under  Campaign timezone, choose a time zone to base the start and end dates on.
6. Choose Next to continue to the final step.

Use recipient's local time

Enable this option to have your scheduled campaign delivered at the selected time in each contact's time zone. If you don't enable this option, your message is delivered to all customers simultaneously, regardless of the time zone they reside in. This option will only work if your contacts have a valid  Demographic.Timezone attribute.
