First, let’s try to add a custom field by importing a CSV file.

1.- Select an existing list or create a new one.

2.- Pick the CSV file that you want to import and include all of the new columns that you'd like to create. Make sure to have the header row with the name for each column.

3.- When mapping properties, look for the new columns and type* exactly what you want. Click on 'Import subscribers'.

*Note: When naming your new field, take into account that Custom Fields are case sensitive. If you type in 'Company', the tag will be created as {{Company}} with the C as upper case.

4.- Go to your list, and select any subscriber to see the new Custom Field. Please note that all existing subscribers will be updated with the new information associated with their email addresses.

On the other hand, you can also add new Custom Fields when adding single subscribers to your list. Let’s give it a try.

1.- Go to your list, click on 'Add subscribers' and then click on 'Add Custom field'.

2.- Type the information that you want and click on '+Add'.

3.- Your custom field is now added to the list.

That’s it! You can repeat this process as many times as you want.
